I really enjoyed this movie. It was fun. I look for an escape and this was it. I used to watch the series way back when and this was a fun follow on.
a movie worth seeing. It did refer to the T.V. show at times, but mostly went into it's own plot. Great humor at times, but other times it just seemed to take forever for a set-up.
I had high expectaitions for this movie, but then this was not as well executed as I had hoped. There was were quite a few laughs, and Steve Carell stole most of the scenes he was in. It was a fine waste of time on a summer afternoon. I give Get Smart 3 stars.
This was an excellent movie......I went to the movies intending to see something else, but took the recommendation of the guy selling the tickets and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire movie!
this movie was so funny.if you havent seen the old get smart about 30 yrs ago,go to utube and put get smart and see the old ones/it pretty good /it was on tv evey week.it shows the cone.Illgive this 5 stars.
Get Smart was hilarious. Steve Carell,Anne Hathaway,Dwayne Johnson,Alan Arkin did a great job in the movie. It had Action, Comedy, Drama, and Romance. I give Get Smart 5 stars.
although i never watched the Get Smart series i still enjoyed the movie. Get Smart had me laughing from begining to end. on the car ride home I couldn't stop laughing and if I think about it I will start laughing right now
Boy, was I surprised! I was never impressed with the TV show - mildly amusing, at best. But everything about this movie was worlds better. The writing was excellent. Aside from a slump in the middle of the film, it moved along very quickly. And the timing was right where the TV show was wrong. Steve Carell showed how to deliver a line, and Anne Hathaway showed how to be a straight man without simpering. And Alan Arkin! He has always been a good, journeyman actor. But in the past few years he has blossomed into one of the best on the screen. My 70-year-old father loved it. My middle-aged wife and I loved it. And my 10-year-old son loved it. See it!
